    Back to real life

    I’m back. 

    Vacation was good.  It was awesome, actually.  We had a great time.

    I spent most of my time doing this.

    Not even kidding. I could sit and watch the ocean go by for hours on end.

    We did get off our ship though, so we could enjoy the beautiful, warm, Caribbean waters.

    And getting two entrees for dinner was pretty fun too.

    All in all, it was a good week.

    The plane ride home is where things kinda began to fall apart. 

    We were delayed 2 hours due to weather. 

    And when we finally got on the plane we sat on the runway for another 40 minutes or so.

    But we made it home safely, and that is all that matters I suppose.

    Upon returning home, my kids promptly got sick, the laundry is piled up and our schedule is full. 

    It’s like we never left.

    Welcome home!!! I’ve missed you and your wit. So glad you had a wonderful time. Hey, at least the kids got sick when you got home, and not while you were there. There’s always a bright side to things, right?!

    I’m going to stare at those pics of the ocean for days, too. Hopefully my vacation simulation will leave me relaxed and tan. At least I can count on the laundry to be here…

    But I did miss you.

    I’d love to see more pics of your vacation, when you’re up and running again. Winter has definitely taken over the Twin Cities. I’d love to see some COLOR.

    I know the feeling.. I count down the weeks, days and minutes to vacation and it goes so slooowwwww. Then a week after I am back I think.. gosh last week at the time I was here or there and it flew by. Sometimes vacation are more work than just staying home.

    I can’t say that I’m not a little bit jealous here. Sounds like you all had a lot of fun. I went on a cruise for my honeymoon. 12 years ago. Time to plan another trip. Perhaps with kids. Perhaps not.
