We interrupt this blogging break…
…to welcome all who land on this blog after searching Google for The Fattest Man In The World.
He’s not here.
I’m not him.
I’m not his wife.
I’m not even the fattest woman in the world.
So I’m sorry that Google has misdirected you.
But still, you are more than welcome to visit. Anytime.
And if you have landed here after […]

An Open Letter
Dear Entertainment Moguls in Charge of Bringing Strawberry Shortcake to Life on DVD:
My daughter is four years old. She is a Strawberry Shortcake fan. Actually fan would be an understatement. Fanatic is probably the more appropriate term.
She enjoys the movies and the dolls, the books and the backpack. She actually thinks that Strawberry’s hair smells good, […]

She (Finally) Flies Thru The Air With The Greatest Of Ease.
I am experiencing post-long-weekend-letdown disorder today.
I wish I had pictures of my long weekend to share, but lo, ’twas not meant to be.
I charged the camera battery on Friday. And I made sure to pack the camera with its fully charged battery on Saturday.
On Saturday, when I went to take my first picture of the weekend known […]

Ye olde list.
1. So I didn’t post yesterday. Which was very weird for me. Because I like to try and post daily. My mind is quieter when I write, and I use that term loosely, here on the blog. A lot of what I write, never sees its way onto the World Wide Web, because I never […]

If somebody else leads, I will probably follow.
I have jumped on the Twitter wagon.
I have no idea why, except that everybody else was doing it.
Which is an expression that is totally going to come back to haunt me when my kids are older.
So if you want to follow me, you can find me here.
And you can know what I’m doing, all of […]

Try not to yawn.
Today’s post promises to be even more exciting than yesterday. Because I lead a wild and crazy life. And then I blog about it. And then you get to read about it.
Look at it this way, at least reading this blog is cheaper than paying for Ambien or Lunesta.
When I was talking about my weekend […]

How I Spent My Weekend, and It Wasn’t Shopping. Or Napping. Or Eating Mexican Food.
So…yeah. That about sums it up. My three favorite weekend activities were non existent this weekend. I’m actually glad it’s Monday so I can get back to doing things I enjoy without all of my people around. Because my people? Well, apparently they are tired of eating Mexican food. I have no idea how this […]

In which I realize that I am an idiot.
The weather is getting nicer outside every day. So I have lost my excuse that it is too cold to get out there and exercise. It is no longer freezing or icy which means I have nothing stopping me from getting out for a walk every day.
Except for one thing.
I’m a little bit out of shape. […]

No wonder I’m so tired. Or alternately titled: I think I’m getting screwed.
Things I do before I go to sleep:
Straighten up the pillow and blanket on the couch I was just sitting on.
Let the dogs out.
Start the dishwasher.
Turn the light on over the kitchen sink.
Charge my cell phone.
Make sure everyones backpack and coat is in their cubby, ready to go in the morning.
Put food and water in […]

Oh Target, how I love to hate thee.
It is love/hate, my relationship with Target.
Currently, after a happy shopping trip today, I love Target. Where else can you get a cute new pair of capris, frozen mini chicken sandwiches, Spray-n-Wash, organizing supplies and deli cheese? Only at Tar-zhay.
I love their bins. I bought these for my sons room. In an assortment of sizes. […]
