Pulling myself away from my new baby to get this post written. If I have to.

Mary’s Tiny Talk Tuesday came at just the right time for me this week. I was talking to my sons teacher today and she was so excited to tell me about something my son said to her before Christmas break started.

Another teacher asked Mrs. L, my sons kindergarten teacher, if she had all her Christmas shopping done. Mrs. L responded that she just had her brother in law left to buy for.

My son overheard this and said “Mrs. L, I didn’t know you had a brother. Is he in jail?”

    Get it? Brother in law?

    That’s my boy.

You’ve got one clever kid. I’m sure his teacher had a great laugh with that one.

Haha! Kids interpret things so literally, don’t they?

Okay, now get back to playing with those puppy ears!

That is so funny! “in law” I miss that about teaching - the kids and the hysterical stuff they say…oh yeah…I still get that :)

too cute. i just love ‘em - our little guys!

yay, we agree on something political. you are so nice to let me rattle on about religion and politics and still come back to my site.

    I really appreciate it.

even though i’ve been writing much lately about the two, it scares me a little.
