    Last week, Chrissy tagged me for a 7 Things You Didn’t Know About Me Meme.

    I am so conflicted about the art of the meme.

    On one hand, I think;

    Hallelujah.

    Something to write about that I actually don’t have to come up with all by myself.

    And on the other hand, I think;

    Oh Crap.

    Who wants to read about mememememememe?

    But, because Chrissy tagged, I will do.

    I’m sure you were all wondering what on earth you could possibly not know about me yet, and today, I’m able to put your mind at ease.

    1. I love brown. Love it. It’s my favorite color. To wear. To accessorize with. To decorate with. It’s warm, it’s chic, it’s classy. Because you know I am all of those things. Warm, chic and klas-say.

    2. And grey. Dark grey, light grey, a grey crayon, whatever. Grey is a classic. It’s not like a Crayola Crayon called Jazzberry Jam. Or Mango Tango. What the heck kinds of colors are those? Grey is grey.

    3. I don’t love cats. They are sneaky. Sorry to all my bloggy friends who love their feline friends. I am sure your cats are very sweet. I just don’t like cats. Or birds.

    4. I wish I were more organized. I’m a mess. Just today, I realized that every pencil in our house needed to be sharpened.

    5. I’m lazy. I didn’t say I actually went ahead and sharpened all those pencils that needed it.

    6. I LOVE Star Wars. The complexity, the family dynamics, the battle between good and evil, the struggle between the Dark Side vs. the Light Side of the Force. What can I say? I love Star Wars as much as I love brown. And that’s A Lot.

    7. I wish I could be a back up singer for a big star. I don’t need to be the center of attention or the star of the show. Who wants to deal with all the paparazzi anyway? If I was a back up singer for someone like Justin Timberlake or Shania Twain, I could be up there on the stage in my cute little matching outfit singing along and doing the choreographed moves just like a rock star, without actually being the rock star. How cool would that be? Of course, I would need to be able to sing. And dance.

    And fit into the cute little outfits.

    So I guess I’ll probably never be a back up singer. That’s okay. I’ll just stay home, watch Star Wars and wear lots of brown.

    What a relief it is to have you all know that about me. Phew.

    If you want to give this one a try, consider yourself tagged.

    I wasn’t a ‘cat person’ either — until we got some. But they live outside and eat mice and are SUPER affectionate and look so dang cute cuddling up with our dog, that my opinion of cats has changed. But I’m DANG lazy. Let’s just not have a competition to see who’s the winner there!!!!

    I too am a cat-convert…sorry. Only when we got one in the summer - before that NO WAY, no cat in my house.

    I just bought my son a pencil sharpener (well Santa stuffed it in his stocking) so he is the official sharpener. Just a little tip for you :)

    Don’t like cats either… at all. I used to until we got one and well, he went crazy. Literally. The vet says that sometimes it happens. He bit me in the calf, leaving two holes. I had to get a tetanus. He bit the neighbor, she was allergic to cat saliva and to this day can’t take antibiotics because the cat saliva did something. She’s a nurse. She can explain it, but in the end she can’t take antibiotics because of cat saliva… I’m not a nurse that’s the best I know! :)

    Brown and me, well, we’re really not friends. I have brown hair and brown eyes. Wearing brown, well I guess I look like a brown crayon. Hopefully not one called brown trunk or anything that would describe me as a tree… I digress.

    So glad you are feeling better, although your posts even while sick show how chic and klas-say you are because you just roll like that…

    Have a great day!

    This was so enjoyable to read. I too want to be a back up singer for a star. Let me know if you know of anyone who is hiring. I am Not a cat lover either. All my pencils are not sharpened, so I guess I am lazy too.

    These were good answers.
    I too love the color brown, I often wonder if people ever say to each other “does she have any color in her closet?”

    I understand the cat thing, they creep me out. I’m a dog lover myself.

    I appreciate a grown woman/mother/female non-freaky-American-Idol-contestant being able to admit she likes Star Wars.

    Because I do, too.

    You know you can always be my back up singer, and we can wear matching outfits. I hate cats. I will say nothing more about that. I love Star Wars also…lets have a Star Wars night.

    A back up singer with Justin or Shania, you don’t want much, do you? Just start off right up there at the top! Go girl! LOL

    Seriously, I think we were seperated at birth. Except for the Star Wars, but that could be attributed to the nature vs. nurture thing…..

    I think memes are great. Not only does it give you a topic for the Blawg, it’s a fun way to find out factoids. It’s a win-win in my book. I’ve been in a brown phase too, it’s cozy and classy and not as harsh as black. Not only are many of our pencils unsharpened, the erasers have been gnawed off by one our cats. Joy.
