The things these kids say! I struggled this week to come up with something I thought was humorous enough to share with you all. I remembered this little exchange we had a few months ago when “Our Teeth” was the theme of the week at preschool.

After getting Taco’s jammys on one night, I said he should get his teeth brushed. He wasn’t too keen on the idea and really started whining and complaining that he didn’t want to brush his teeth that night. I asked nicely, several times, and finally just firmly said “BRUSH YOUR TEETH RIGHT NOW AND GET IN BED.”

His response?

“Can’t I just go eat an apple? It’s nature’s toothbrush!”

Ummm, I don’t think that is exactly the point his teachers were trying to get across about oral hygiene.
